Looking for advice...

Wondering your guys thoughts on this....

I caught the basketball EV tossed into the crowd at the beginning of Do the Evolution at the Halloween show in Philly. My brothers gf also took a great picture of me and blew it up and put it in a frame of me holding the ball up and she took everyone in the crowd and put them black and white and kept only me and the ball in color with the words "last ball ever to be put in play at the Spectrum" in script. Its a pretty fuckin awesome picture if I do say so myself!

What I really wanted to do is get the ball signed by the guys and mabye send in a copy of the picture and my ticket just to back up that this is the real ball EV launched into the crowd that night.

My question to you guys is, do you have any knowledge if the band signs and sends back memorabilia they get in the mail from fans? Im a little nervous of never getting the ball back if I send it away

    I can guarentee that you wont get it back... If you did, they would have to sign anything that everyone would send them after you.

    it says right in the membership info that you get when you sign up that if you send anything in for sig's, you won't get it back.

    What an awesome thing to have and what a nice thing your brother's girlfriend did with it. I would just keep it at that, because they say the band does not sign and return things. and you certainly don't want to lose it.

    so just enjoy for what it is, which is AWESOME.

    Yea I figured that as well. But the bands john hancock on the ball would rock and put it in a glass case...haha oh well....I will try and get the pic on my comp and post on here.....Would love for you all to see it.

    sorry, can you help the computer illiterate? I took a picture of the picture lol on my phone and emailed it to myself so it is on my computer. How can I transfer it to here?

    well depending on the format, you should just be able to hit "Post a reply" and then when info comes up at the top, hit the image button and post the link to the picture in between the two Img buttons.

    Where were you in the Spectrum anyway, I was second row Mike's side, I'm trying to remember where Ed threw ball.

    Why dont you just write them a letter explaining to them what you want to do. And send them a COPY of the original. Explain it to them and ask them if you sent the REAL one would they do it. If they say no then you're back to square 1. If they say yes, it would be pretty shitty of them to keep it.

    Just an idea.

    You need to upload it to flickr or photobucket and then use the link from there

    Thanks! My birthday is in December, so my brother and his girl thought of this and did it up and gave it to me as a gift....unreal
