    I thought I had let go of the way my boss' boss prefers to make up fluff instead of seeking out the answers, and how I couldn't agree to be a part of that. I was telling a friend about it today.

    I realized how pissed I was that this boss' boss would consider making up stuff instead of just asking the person with the answers. This report is to go to the finance committee, and it shows a disrespect to them, as well as to the others she tried to bully into creating fluff. FUCKING BITCH!

    I was talking with a co-worker who I've known for over a year, and we both hinted that we came from violent childhoods. We both talked about *irrational* fears i.e., fear of sharks. Also, I'm heterosexual, but I have a fear of men, which puts a damper on the whole dating idea. This fear could be result of my childhood, but is also a result of working with survivors of domestic violence and rape. When I recovered from that work I was kindof lost when it came to dating. I refer to myself as having been broken by that work. I am wiser, and more empathic, but I have a deep, sharp sadness that can't be removed. It's small, but it's there.

    Anywho, as we were talking about our fears, I realized that we didn't have to overcome our fears. We did overcome our fears. In other words, those of us who have been in violent situations most likely survive. The number that don't compared to the number that do I would guess is small.

    What I theorize is that survival is like a sense, on par with smell, taste, touch, hearing, seeing, and different from the 6th sense in the mind's eye. Survival is automatic - it's what we do.

    When we apply the non-automatic like thinking that's when we figure out how not to pass the violence on, or be eaten by the mind and body memories.
