    its alot better then a 2.5 .but i do think pearl jam have done better live shows..so this would get a 4 from me .

    Benaroya Hall isn't exactly the most commercial/marketable album. Definitely not as much as LO2L was.

    I get the point he's trying to make, and of course he's entitled to his opinion. But my biggest gripe is his writing skills. Surely a professional writer can make a better case than simply paraphrasing (badly) his first line in his last line.

    To say nothing of the meaninglessness of the phrase "one of the more unique"... :geek:

    Benaroya is a cool disc, but I think Ed is pretty monotone for the show. After seeing his solo shows in 2008 and 2009, he has vastly improved on singing the quieter songs and adding a lot to them vocally. I went on a long car ride and listened to Benaroya and it struck me how reserved Ed was the entire show. Makes it all kind of blend together.
