If it were up to you to look over all nine of Pearl Jam's studio albums and select one song from every track number to create the best possible Pearl Jam album, what songs would you pick? For example, to open the album you would have to consider Once, Go, Last Exit, Sometimes, etc., and choose only one to put on your best album possible. Then you'd have to consider Even Flow, Animal, Spin the black circle, Hail Hail, etc., and pick one.

Sorry. I couldn't resist. I'm one of those fans who feels Vitalogy to be "the best Pearl Jam album possible" as it is, for various reasons. I do have songs that I like 'more' then some of these tracks. But, for the sake of making an album (i.e. considering the piece as a whole) I don't need to go any further then Vitalogy. Sorry if I spoiled your game

Nothing wrong with doing this at all. I just prefer to listen to each album as their own entity. So, I haven't done anything like this with PJ.
But I do have a funny story. Back in the day, I was a HUGE Van Halen fan. Still enjoy a good EVH lick from time to time, but as a kid, I didn't know there was any other band.
I taped, yes taped, every VH studio album song alphabetically from A to Z. I know it started with "A Apolitical Blues"...can't remember what it ended with, but that was a fun project.
