I remember that we all received a link to download the Speed of Sound promo version a few months before the Backspacer release. It was totally different from the final album version, kind of an acoustic song, and everybody loved it rather than the BS release!
Unfortunately i cannot find the song on my PC anymore!
Has anybody a link where i can download it?

i think the backspacer version is incredible and blows away the other one.
i think it's one of their best songs. the desire for it will grow in years to come when it's the song from backspacer that is rarely ever played.

This might be true. I'm not a big fan of the album version but I did enjoy hearing it live in Hartford.

I think the album version is better. The demo is just a bit boring. Like something's missing. The rest of the band maybe????
