Sat, 7/10: PJ Tribute NO CODE in Central NJ (FINALLY!) – 21+

HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY, JAMMER NATION!
First, a little story about how this event came to be. Follow along if you can -- and if you care...
Old Bay originally booked NO CODE for May 8. Then a scheduling snafu forced the show's postponement to May 15. Then Pearl Jam announced a spring tour that included a stop in Hartford on -- you guessed it -- May 15. That's when the band determined that most of the Jersey contingent of Jammer Nation would sooner road-trip to New England to see the genuine article than spend the night in New Brunswick with a high-end knockoff. So we decided to punt a second time in favor of following the herd to the great State of Connecticut, where we humble fakers conducted some more "field research".
Now, what does all of this mean? In summary: Central Jersey, your reprieve ends July 10!

Bring your band to South Jersey!
Accoustic? Awesomeness!
'00 12 shows / '03 4 shows / '06 6 shows
'08 3 shows / '09 5 shows / '10 6 shows
Peace!
If my dragon-spotting friend is referring to the coastal side of South Jersey (which would also satisfy a certain "wrocker"), we didn't pursue any summer bookings in the area because No Code and sand appear to be a bad fit, as disappointing as that may be with all of Pearl Jam's ocean-themed songs. Beach venues want Top 40, or at least cover bands that appeal to a broad segment of their clientele. No matter how much we try to jam a square peg into Surf Club's round hole (that's what she said), we can't overcome the prevailing sense that it's a guido bar.
Thanks for the heads up!
