They should have brought back Arc in Berlin

10 years since Roskilde. Haven't played the song as a band forever. I know it's retired for the band (believe I heard that) but it would have been really meaningful on the anniversary. Guess I'll respect the decision not to do it though.

  • never happen..and it shouldn't, not as a band.....if you ever get to see an EV solo show you will be blessed with this amazing "tune"...i saw him solo 4 times and was blown away by Arc all 4 times!can't even explain the emotion he puts into it...and even a boot doesn't do it full justice...it needs to be experienced live...i'm getting goosebumps just thinking about it!

but i was front row in Mansfield on 06/30/2008 (the 8 year anniversary) and they didn't play it then either...though Ed did tease us with a few notes....but i think that was just to let us know it was on his/their mind/s as well...i was more bummed they didn't play LBC.

I was at the Opera House both nights and the goosebumps still reverberate with me today. It just....I don't know. Epic is not the word because of how depressing the anniversary is, but it would have been touching.

cool! so you know what i'm say'n then....i just think it's a special thing to the band..playing it only the nine times...i don't see them ever playing it again..out of honor and respect for our lost brothers and sisters...not saying i couldn't be wrong...it's just the feeling i get.
