I think the shirt should instead say "Babies come from Pearl Jam".

Been to this many PJ shows: Reading 2006 London 2007 Manchester & London 2009 Dublin, Belfast, London, Nijmegen & Berlin 2010 Manchester 1 & Manchester 2 2012...
... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.
BUT I have to confess...I might have bought it anyway heheheheeeee

I think I was excpecting scary preschoolers singing Pearl Jam...which would have been strangely frightening but this is great. I love it, but it is more like PJ Elevator music!!!!!!
I bought this for my infant son a few months ago and he loves it! Now, when he hears the real versions of songs on that CD he gets really excited.
2003: San Antonio, Houston, Dallas, Seattle; 2005: Monterrey; 2006: Chicago 1 & 2, Grand Rapids, Cleveland, Detroit; 2008: West Palm Beach, Tampa; 2009: Austin, LA 3 & 4, San Diego; 2010: Kansas City, St. Louis, Columbus, Indianapolis; 2011: PJ20 1 & 2; 2012: Missoula; 2013: Dallas, Oklahoma City, Seattle; 2014: Tulsa; 2016: Columbia, New York City 1 & 2; 2018: London, Seattle 1 & 2; 2021: Ohana; 2022: Oklahoma City
Jeez ... I can't be the only one out on a limb with this one? ... that was hell to my ears ... irritating like a itch that can't be scratched.
I'd rather play the real deal to a baby/child at low volume ... at least they are being exposed to the actual band
“There should be a place where only the things you want to happen, happen”
I agree wtih stargirl...there is really something wrong here...
Yes there is ... why is so much music for children sanitized from the original versions? ... I am sure most parents here use common sense of what they will let their babies/children hear and turn down the volume.
My friend spent her pregnancy listening to Flaming Lips Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots ... she chose it as her labour music and even now when her 6 year old daughter is stressed/upset she puts on Yoshimi and they have a wee cuddle. The cuddle and the music combined chill her way out.
She has her own copy and often plays it independently.

I might be sensitive today, but that thing scared the shit outta me. Al those sounds coming in randomly eeek.
Some kids might need therapy later in life.
This is awesome. My girl is 6 weeks pregnant. I'm buying if for her.
I'm a fan of some of these types of things. The String Quartet doing Pearl Jam is cool too.
Its super cutsie when you have a kid I think. If don't have a kid maybe its weird but I think its a pretty bad ass little PJ thing. My kids will be getting plenty of the real deal as they get older... Don't worry. This will just flow better with my chicken. She's gonna love it.
Most babies are attracted to certain types of high and repetitive pitch sounds in lullaby cds. I got this when my son was 2 months old. I would play slow PJ songs for him when he was sleepy and/or fussy and they never calmed him down but this did. With the Babies Go CD, he would stop crying soon after it started and usually be asleep within the first few songs.
Now, at about 7 months he gets really excited when he hears the real version of the songs. He still loves his lullaby cds too!
