Who's excited to see the new video? theskyiscrape is reporting sometime this week it's coming out.

    They could flash back and forth between Boom's surfing and Ed singing on a mountain top, overly dramatic, Scott Stapp style.. and Jeff could be playing the bass.. underwater! :thumbup:

    Is there an official release date for the single? I have yet to see this on a Chicago station's playlist.

    it came out like 3 weeks ago. And didn't wxrt in Chicago play Amongst the Waves a lot when Backspacer came out?

    They did, but they played a lot of Backspacer.. they usually don't push singles so much though.

    It would be cool if it was a live video that used the footage from Philly last year!!! And then after the video there was an announcement that a Philly '09 dvd was on the way.... I can dream.... :)

    Did the news originate on Daily Double Hits website and everyone else just took it from there, or is there another source? Kinda strange that there is nothing out there, no buzz, leak etc and it's already end of week.
    Well, I guess if there was leak, people wouldn't run here with the link.
    Still, I find it strange that there is no futher info, production, director etc. Did anybody hear anything new?

    The last place to look for Pearl Jam news is really here. Sooooo many other places to go for information.

    Anyone else scratching their head as to why this ridiculously up-beat song is going to be applied to the ridiculously down-beat gulf oil spill? Doesn't make sense.

    This could end up being a real dumb video... I hope it's not.

    Great news - but now I have to scrap about 13hours of work for the Amongst The Waves video I have been working on - like all great things, nothing beats the original - so I am way stoked to see what they put out this time

    Amongst the Waves is a song that's upbeat and happy. The Gulf Oil Spill is sad. They don't go together, atleast I don't think they do.
