Love the movie, but wanted to buy it and couldn't find it cheap unfortunately at any store. 19.99 for a bare-bones edition with no extras and 25 bucks for a two-disc set.......It's not 1998 anymore, why are some dvds the same cost as some blu-ray discs???? fuck cds being overpriced, dvds are too.

those prices seem pretty normal for a new release. $20-$25 for 2 disc special editions.

first day releases are the best times to buy new releases, at a cheap price. every tuesdays, i shop at futureshop for new released cds/dvds/blu-ray's etc..

but still, on a regular day purchase, it pisses me off to see single cd & single dvd releases over the $23.99 price range.

check out this difference from the hd-dvd release to the 2 disc dvd release of into the wild:

My daughter bought mine for me. She got the 2 disc one and paid around $15. Of course she works at a record/cd/dvd/video game store so she gets stuff at cost! :D

I got the 2 disk combo for $19.99 at WalMart...you seen the price of gas, it costs money to get it to the store.

Yeah, I think it's a function of where you buy it. A DVD is going to cost what it costs. I don't see Sean Penn or the studio gauging.
