PJ In Studio Random Thoughts

The last album was pretty rockin'. I figure that if they are in the studio now, right after Ed did Into the Wild, and tunes up for his solo shows, there will be quite a few acoustic tunes being written. Hopefully in the vein of Elderly Woman, Nothingman, All or Nothing, Daughter, Footsteps, I Am Mine, Nothing As It Seems, Light Years, Wishlist, Garden etc.

Alot of songwriters start with acoustic versions and then go electic, so this is also possible(i.e. Green Day)

Just have to think that Eddie playing alot of acoustic stuff in preparation for the solo show will affect the sound of the new material. But you never know cause we only got 2 songs on album form all his ukelele playing( Soon Forget/Can't Keep) and a few more offered as rarities in concert(You're True/ Brokenhearted)

    I like the way you think. That is a good point, and I love all of those songs that you mentioned...although Eddie isn't responsible for all of them ;)

    Nothingman is a Ament tune :)

    Sleight Of Hand, Immortality, and Low Light all make EXCELLENT acoustic tracks.
