anyone else kind of celebrating 10 year anniversaries of the more epic 2000 shows? :geek:

cracked beer and threw on katowice 2. 6/16/00.

    Love that show. A great setlist and great performance by the guys. Man, I can't believe it's been 10 years since the 2000 tour. I feel old now.

    is it really worth the hype this show? I haven't heard it yet, but keep hearing about it. I know shame on me!
    so far I've only heard Paris 2000 and Jones Beach 1 2000 (only because I was there :D ) boots...

    Highly recommended. Manchester was good as was Bilbao, Spain. Berlin is up there too. Hamburg. Fuck it. Get em all!!!! :mrgreen:

    J/K. No, this is definately one of the highlights of the 2000 tour. This, along with:

    London (both)
    Virginia Beach
    Jones Beach (all 3 IMO)
    Mansfield I (Boston)
    Vegas
    Seattle I+II

    Yes! If it wasn't for the bootlegs of Kattowice 2 and Hamburg 00 I would not be as big of a fan as I am. I was just a casual fan after only owning Ten and Binaural and I purchased these boots on a whim. These two shows covinced me that I had to listen to verything this band put out there! I listened to Kattowice 2 with headphones countless times while I was in High School...Great show!

    Katowice II is definitely a great bootleg. I think it's so highly regarded because it was apparently a very intimate performance, lots of crowd interaction, and great versions of the songs. Also, the somewhat unusual start with 4 slow songs in a row makes the show stand out amongst the others. “We’ll try and take it easy tonight. Let’s get through the pretty ones first…” Also, I think they may have been making the set list up as they went along. A review of the show says they huddled up a lot between songs and seemed to be winging it.
