What are the chances of another Eddie Vedder solo tour?

I think he can change his lineup from last time (not that he needs to, really) and make it super cool with Backspacer acoustic stuff. Plus the new song that just leaked. And more rarities.

If I could create a setlist for a 2010 EV Solo Show, I'd try:

Long Road
Smile
Crown of Thorns
I Won't Back Down (Petty cover)
Rise
Wishlist
In My Tree (w Liam Finn/bongos)
WMA (w Liam Finn/bongos)
Crazy Mary
Let My Love Open the Door (Pete Townshend cover)
Sometimes
Just Breathe
Born to Run (Springsteen cover)
Let Me Sleep It's Christmas Time
Nothingman
Betterman
Better Days
Arc

1st Encore

Man on the Moon (REM cover)
Sittin on the Dock of the Bay (Redding cover)
Society (Jerry Hannan cover)
Footsteps
The Kids are Alright (Who cover)
Hard to Imagine
Who You Are (w/Liam Finn on bongos)
I've Got a Feeling (Beatles cover)
Indifference

2nd Encore

Bugs
Off He Goes
Bee Girl
Jeremy (Red Rocks style)
Daughter
Hard Sun

I'd love to see this happen.

How come no Lukin2 in your setlist?

That be sweet, but methinks that when Ed does a solo tour, he enjoys playing songs that he wrote himself, a la Into the Wild, and others such as Porch and Elderly Woman. I would love to see the solo tour library expand though, like playing Unthought Known and others like Rearviewmirror and maybe Immortality a la Immagine in Cornice.

born to run isn't very good when it's a non rocker. something like thunder road or atlantic city would be better. also you gotta have lukin 2 in the setlist.

He would never play songs like Crown of Thorns or Nothingman... pretty much stuck to either songs he wrote entirely himself or covers of other bands.

I went to 3 during the first tour, and 2 times during the second- I would go 5 more times in a heartbeat...

I'm confused by how many times I keep reading about people requesting please let me sleep it's christmastime though?? You guys really want to hear that one at a concert?

If history is any indication, Ed's never going to play any of these. He only does his songs, not ones written by the other band members, and honestly, why should he? It's not a Pearl Jam show.

I love the solo sets he was doing, probably the most exciting thing in the Pearl Jam/EV universe in the last few years. I really hope he gets stuck into a proper solo career sooner rather than later, I think Into the Wild was a far more rewarding listen than either S/T or Backspacer.

    Without a doubt.

okay on Lukin2. Maybe Liam can help.

I like the Let me Sleep it's Christmas Time song. Just a personal fave.

You never know with what songs he'd played. Maybe the other writers of PJ would be honored that Ed would play them. That was just a personal "I'd love this" setlist for me.

Never got the chance to see EV solo both times he toured in the past, so I'm really hoping he'll do a tour in the future! These shows seem so amazing and intimate!

I am sure Ed will do another solo album in the future...Once pearl jam is on break from touring and recording new material....Once he releases another solo album...Pretty much certain he will do a tour to support...Ed seems to enjoy the solo tour..Plus, he makes some serious jack on his solo tours..

Not sure if the next solo album will be done for a soundtrack or just solo album supporting no movie etc?
