I have never complained even once about the bootlegs Pearl Jam have ever released to date, but is it just me or does Newark sound horrible?
I haven't heard it yet, but Bristow is pretty bad. Philly sloppy. Ed even makes a comment before "Black" about how bad they're fucking up.

i don't mind when they make mistakes.i like my live music raw and real and in the emotional moment of the band.i saw them mess up love boat captin in camden they just abandoned it to go into a blistering version of corduroy...on hollween ed left out the second half of the first verseof alive "while you were home at age thirteen your real father was dying,sorry you didn't see him but i'm glad we talked"....i still think its a kick ass version of the song...and one of my favorites. ....the greatfull dead fucked up ALL THE TIME and besides pearl jam they're my favorite live band....save the polished shit for the studio
Pretty much every show I've heard so far this year is a solid listening experience.
Favourites so far are Kansas City, Columbus, Cleveland, Noblesville (fantastic show), and Boston.
I'm listening to Hartford and it's stellar so far. Next up it's the MSG boots.

I downloaded this gig today.I went to night 1,I had to have this show since the reviews are off the charts.I have downloaded and listened to New Orleans,KC,St Louis,Boston,Newark & MSG1.This is a great show,though I dont like Corduroy as an opener,I prefer it second or 3rd.Sometimes night 1 was an amazing opener.The band really kick things off hard.Hail,Hail, Evolution,WWS and Got Some round off the first 5.Its a blistering pace.The band then play the classic Breath. This is were I start to get jelous.Nothingman(my second fav song :x )is nailed.Present Tense is played to perfection,and yes,is another fav of mine not played night 1 :( .Not For You and Why Go sound amazing.I love the Modern Girl tag at the end of NFY.So,now at this point Im pissed that I missed this show.I was afraid to look at the setlist the night of the show.The encore has the 2 classics(The End,Just Breathe) played with the strings like night 1.But,Lukin is the standout.It sounds like a totally diff song.With the strings,it sounds so dramatic.Simply amazing.Now this show is starting to stand out,alone,as a classic epic show.Black Red Yellow is played for the 1st time since the Canada 2005 tour.You have to be shitting me. :evil: .Classic.The only slip in my opinion is Sweet Lew.This song is brutal.It sounds bad,and is bad.They should have left it in Philly.It should have been one time only,not 2 times only.Sorry guys,Im as much a diehard,but it is a bad song.Alone,Footsteps,Brother or Leatherman would have fit better.They played those rare odd tunes at my Newark gig at least.GTF,STBC,RVM end this great encore.But now is where it really gets interesting.EV gives his thanks to NYC,thanking us on how the 2 shows sold out so fast.The opening of Better Man is nailed by the New York crowd.No shock there. I'm still waiting to hear something from 10C about whether they are going to correct the flaw in "Daughter" from the Newark boot FLAC download. Two emails with no response and two phone calls with clueless people acting as if this was something that was news to them.
Someone said that the CD was fine. Can we get any more confirmation on this? Because if they're not going to correct the download, I'll ask for a refund and buy the CD.
Also, is the glitch present in the MP3 download? I know someone started a thread about this at one point, so I know others noticed the glitch as well, just not sure which version of the download people were referring to. I suspect both are probably bad.

I have the cd from the Newark gig.It is fine.I have checked the spot during Daughter many times,I played the show today,there are no skips.I also purchased MSG 1 on cd and the other 11 shows via download.I havent listened to Buffalo and Bristow yet.My only slight complaint,some of the shows (New Orleans,KC) that I ripped to cd are a bit lower than the cd's that I bought from the 10c.Boston,MSG 2 and Hartford sound great.Same volume level.I know flac is said to be "better" than mp3,but it seems like a hassle to convert.I like to open the download and it goes right to my iPod.Nice and easy for somelike me....not the swiftest with computers and iPods and downloads and flacs and mp3 stuff.

10c Well, downloaded the entire concert again (911MB) and 45 minutes later (after downloading and unzipping the file), I find that it has THE SAME DAMN GLITCH. WTF?? How hard can it be to listen to it and make sure it's right before wasting our time by sending the same crap we got the first time. I love 10c,but needless to say, I'm pretty pissed right now. :evil:
Just arrived home to my boots(Melbourne, Boston, MSG I AND II) Great! I thought until I open the package and two of the boots are saturated. I mean I don't mean totally soaked through but the Cardboard case of MSG 1 is affected as is MSG II. I could let them dry but is that the point? I mean the spine of MSG 1 where it has the date/venue is all faded away by the water damage. The strange thing is is that the package is damp free. The CD's seem fine (I'm blasting MSG 1 now as I type as a test)

In the past when I have had probs with my boots I was directed to contact Kufala directly and in every case they handled it perfectly and immediately. With the band touring and 10C or most of it with them I would just contact Kufala straight away and not wait for 10C. Actually I would contact them directly anytime directly except in the case I wanted 10C to know about the mistake such as the quality issue.

According to the tracking status, my bootlegs have been in Paso, Robles, CA, since June 9. Was the tracking service accurate for others? Being in Canada, I knew I wouldn't see them for at least a couple of weeks, but I was expecting they'd be a little further east by now.

I have all the shows, just that track 14 Daughter from Newark is fubarred and you say yours doesn't have the glitch. If I could get that song by itself in wav or flac to replace the bad one I have then I am solid.
