In the Vs booklet on the page before the Blood lyrics, what is this song? Was it ever recorded?

Whats the picture on the backfold out of Vs with a guy on a mountain with dead trees or the guy on the cross or that weird voodoo head?

whats the story behind in hiding and how it ties into bukowski?

Binaural-whats on the page following the evacuation lyrics, is that a spit stopper?

Riot Act-whats on the cover, what is it, what does it mean? Whats that puppet thing in fron of ed on the wanted to get right page?

    well about Bukowski, he has some philosophy about giving yourself a break from the world and being alone for a while, and when you finally get back you're supposed to be refreshed/recharged. this supposedly inspired the lyrics to In Hiding, there's another thread that quotes Bukowski explaining it.

    Now as far as the Riot Act cover, I've always interpreted that as being similar to the Metallica song "King Nothing." It's about being the king or president, but when you've let your kingdom/country go to shit, then being the King is not so great, because you've lost all credibility/respect from your people.
