for those like myself getting to this thread late, do we know the songs yet? Obviously Hawaii 78 but what is the other? That 12th Backspacer song that never made the cut would be my ideal 2nd song

Grrr! You're in TX, and got it, I was in Montana for the last week, so the mail-lady is holding my mail hostage right now, won't get it until about 4pm PST. Or she might think I'm not at home and will make drive to the post office and pick it up tomorrow...waiting....waiting...so hard to wait...I don't have a turntable either, and all of my holiday singles have never been played!

Ok, I couldn't stand it any longer. I opened it. I don't have a record player, but that may change today. Looking at the vinyl, It's pretty beat up from the shipping in one area. I'll give you the info I have on it:

    One Side says:

    Turning Mist
Mike McCready: Acoustic, Vocals, and Piano
    Jeff Ament: Bass
    Stone Gossard: Electric Guitar
    Matt Cameron: Drums
    Barrett Jones: B3

Written by Mike McCready Jumpin Cat music
Arranged by Mike, Jeff, Matt and Stone
    Mixed by Barrett Jones

*side note* No mention of Ed in the credits for this song

    The other side says:

    Hawaii 78
    (by Mickey Ioanedoes)
Eddie Vedder, Boom Gaspar, Tavana McMoore

July 02, 2009 - Hawaii Theater (**so this is definitely from the solo show and it's a great version**)

In memory of brother Iz with love and respect to Makaka (obviously referencing the late Israel Kamakawiwo'ole)

    Recorded by John Burton
    Mixed by Barrett Jones
    Mastered by Ed Brooks

Something else I noticed that seemed interesting. There are hand-etched serial numbers in the vinyl. You can tell that they weren't machine stamped, because the digits are not print style, they were written in hand and the numbers are not identical. So on one side I have:

    7692-TC 009-7 (3) R-22688 (**for some reason the "2" is missing in "2009")
    7692-TC2009-7 (4) R-22687
