    I'm hearing quite a bit of distortion in Santa God. Is that meant to be there, or is it a result of the transfer from vinyl to mp3?

    Good to see they are still churning out rockers, I was concerned after Avocado they would go a bit soft and gooey, but this bodes well for a new album.

    I think it's the result of the rip only. I'm sure as other members start receiving their copies of the single that we'll have addition rips available that are of better quality and in a lossless format.

    Thank You everyone for posting about the holiday single. I have not received mine yet and the anticipation is now growing to an obscene amount. This may be my favorite gift this Christmas and in a way I am getting it for myself by being a 10c member. Hmm, this will also be my first of many PJ vinyls.

    It's not very heavy though, is it? It's good, but still not that heavy.

    Heard it for the first time this morning. Gave it 1 spin on the record player and loved it instantly. Still haven't flipped over to side 2 to hear "Jingle Bells".

    I'm so glad they gave us some new shit this year.

    "Santa God" is a fun song. It probably won't be on my short list of favorite Pearl Jam songs...but it is certainly a good song for the Holiday record and one I will play many many times over.

    That's why it's just a Xmas singles for the fan club.
    It's not a new single from a new album.
    I thought funny and enjoyed it as well.

    First listen: "Hmmm..... that's interesting. Cute and quirky. Nice job, boys!"

    Second listen: "Yeah... that's pretty catchy! I dig that. What a perfect little xmas tune! Kinda punk, kinda off-beat... very Pearl Jam and very Eddie! Yeah!! I totally dig that! Awesome little xmas tune!"

    So, having not played it a third time yet, the jury comes in with all thumbs up. It's a keeper!!!
    For those who scoff at "Jamily" in my name... 9 years ago, when my first daughter was born there were jokes about whether my priority would be my family or PJ. I smiled and quipped "I am a JamilyMan." What was a family joke became a hated term among jammers. Didn't see that one coming!
