We all love this band and could go on and on about our favorite songs and what amazing musicians they are ...but I want to talk about how Pearl Jam transcends the boundaries that other bands are confined to....they have a fan base unlike any other on this planet....even the Dead...I have come to know and grow fond of many of my fellow PJ brethren and going to shows stopped just being about seeing my favorite band and also became about seeing some of my favorite people!! People i would not have met if it wasn't for this band (and our mutual love of said band)

Every tour i get to meet new friends, hang with old ones and have a fucking great time....times that i will always remember for the rest of my days. :mrgreen:


So i just wanted to take the time and thank the guys for that...for bringing me together with some class A people from ALL OVER THE WORLD, that i would have never met otherwise if it wasn't for them!!

THANKS DUDES!! :D:D:D


....but mostly this thread is for all the peeps i have met and have yet to meet....you guys make this "community" what it is and i feel truly blessed to be a part of it all.

yeah...I'm feeling the Love!! (imagine that?! :lol: )

    Long story short....

    Fenway Faithful and I were good friends in elementary school and jr high in the early to mid 90's. He went to a private school in high school and I stayed in the public system and somewhere along the way we lost touch. It wasn't until a few PM's back and forth on here about 15 years later that we realized who we were and that ironically enough we live about a mile from each other.

    This board is the reason we are friends again so it definately is more than just the music.
