    I'm not 100% sure why but Berlin 2000 is probably my most listened to boot. NAIS, Daughter, Habit, Alive and Corduroy are particularly good. Sometimes the crowd seems a bit quiet but the setlist to me is perfect and is utterly relentless. I love Berlin 96, 06 and 09 too but German gigs are generally quite special. See Nurnburg 2000, Hamburg 2000 and Hurricane Festival 07 for evidence. Athens 06 is great but most PJ shows are to me. The Gorge 05, Nashville 03, Atlanta 94, Soldier Field 95, Benaroya Hall!! Several hundred shows in almost 20 years and I don't know many or any bad ones?
    Like a book among the many on a shelf...

    I was in Athens as well and yes the show was quite good!
    However I agree that the screaming girls spoil a few songs on the boot.
    It only totally ruins Footsteps if my mind serves me right.

    Best performance = Early 90's (though smaller selection of songs to compare)
    Best collection of songs = Recent shows - since there's more songs to choose from.
    Best sound production = Maybe '09 or '10 - I'll have to wait to get my philly boots for listen to find out.

    I think the 2003 boots generally have the best sound. They were produced by Sony as PJ was on that label at that time and in my opinion have a much more refined, clear and professional sound than subsequent releases. Not complaining about Kufala or other subsequent releases though . . . just glad to have boots and plenty of 'em.

    I got a few faves:::::
    London ´09 - I was there, the set, the SOUND
    Newcastle ´06 - that´s the way to pull of a setlist
    Seattle II ´00 - It seems like all things ads up here
    Adelaide I ´06 - I just like the flow of that show, it´s just a great listen
    Philly ´05 - What a show. It sounds like everybody in the room has the time of their life
    MSG I ´03 - I really found the love for this show after watching the dvd......
    Philly III ´09 - The set and the sound (I love Hold On)

    Yeah I know all the shows are from the recent years, but thats because I fancy the sound the most.

    (and last - mabye ´cause I was there, but Berlin ´06 - the band is flawless and Black is amazing -I still have goosebumbs for the "we belogn togheter" tag
