I'm glad you don't make the setlists.
What does that last sentence mean? You don't think MSG sold out???
RA songs are great live. The crowd gets into RA songs as much as any of the lesser known songs, stuff like In My Tree or Rats.
Save You is great in the first cluster of rockin
1/2 Full may be the most explosive tune they play.
Not sayin the whole album is great, but just about every tune from the album sounds better live, and I don't really think that about most PJ tunes like alot around here.
Although Get Right I think sounds way better studio - everything else is pretty solid live though.
edit, maybe it is right. nationwide areana website says for concerts it can hold up to 20K people and with 25%(?) closed off behind the stage and quite a few empty's in the rafters, i guess it could be right.
i would feature setlists including a lot more of you are, lbc, save you, all or none and thumbing my way.

and i'm as big a fan as anyone here (44 shows), you can't tell me that riot act sounds as good live as anything from no code or vs. i really feel riot act is their weakest album (check out the sales) and it was that tour that turned a lot of people off; i think the binaural tour started it a little. 98 was packed everywhere, 2000 you see a little slide and 03 a big slide in a lot of markets (texas as a whole, little rock, new orleans, b'ham). 2010 i think we see a little bit of a comeback in those tough market cities like in the midwest. i really feel they have to continue to tour places they haven't been to in a while like phoenix or minnesota or for christ's sake east troy to get some people back. backspacer live is probably the best live album since yield.
i personally love 1/2 full and save you at a show but besides that......
A couple people from work just got aux jacks in their cars and I let them borrow some tunes. They both (non PJ fans) say that this week all they have been able to listen to is Backspacer and ITW.
a lot of non fans i know have said nice things about both albums. It seemed that Self-Titles was contained only in our universe and didnt really penetrate the outside world at all.

They only showed three shows in Billboard Magazine. Perhaps next weeks issue will have more.
I do agree that the Backspacer tracks are coming alive really well. I was surprised by Supersonic live and Got Some just keeps getting better.
I completely agree with you on HelpHelp and Green Disease.
These two songs alone destroy the album.
Still can't believe Pearl Jam released these shitty songs on an album.
Replace Green Disease, Ghost, and Cropduster with Down, Undone, and Otherside and Riot Act would great a stupendous record!
Folks these days just don't do nothing simple for the love of it
