I can't find much on it either. i know for sure it is a VHS release, not sure if it ever made it to dvd. i'd love to see this.

i just bought a dvd of this WELD thing we are talkin bout, off ebay. it is a homemade VHS copy, transferred onto dvd. i think the quality will be alright. there are no chapters, no titles. :( BUT at least i get to see it. i played the whole thing at work today and loved it.
on the topic of Neil, have you guys heard this one?
FANTASTIC versions of when you dance, mr soul and barstool blues. i can listen to those 3 songs of this cd over and over, they avg about 8 -9 minutes each, really, really jammy in the middle....just awesomeness.

FINALLY got my WELD dvd.
first, he sent me by mistake CSNY live at wembley 1974, I got to keep that one, and he sent me the real WELD.
I watched 3 songs to make sure it works and it kicks ass. get it.....

i tried to copy it from vhs to dvd with zero luck
same as petty's pack up the plantation
copyright protection doesn't allow it...got find a way around that...ugh0 -
Disc 2 of Weld is probably my favorite live cd. A friend of mine has the concert VHS tape and it's outstanding. I wish they'd release it on dvd too.0

there's a guy on ebay (lives in the UK) who sells burned, unofficial copies of weld from time to time.
quirky neil young is fucking with us. you can get damn near anything on dvd.....just not weld.If I had known then what I know now...
