    I forgot about 3/29/94 -- need to add it to my list.

    I have a soft spot for East Rutherford2 because I was there. I cant argue with anything on your list or a bunch of other shows (e.g., Melbourne 1998) but id definitely include that version (East Rurtherford 2, 2006) on any list of great versions of Porch. Its, at the least, the best version I've heard post-1998. I think its hard to pick a definitive version of any PJ song - -probably better to break up into tours or five-year increments. In the end, its subjective.

    Albany '06 was on par w/ E Rutherford too, as far as recent versions go.

    "Animal" at the 1993 MTV Mucic Awards
    The anger and disdain that the lyrics suggest are never more present in the performance of the song than here.

    Might have had something to do with the crowd!

    A couple off the top of my head...

    Daughter - Milano, September 17th 2006 - Absolutely my favourite version ever of this song. I was there so I'm also a little biased. But my god its a powerful performance. The roar from the crowd when the song starts is insane, and we sang along to every single word from the get go. And if you watch the DVD you see that Ed followed our lead for the singalong tags. Monstrous version, yet to be beaten in my opinion.

    In My Tree - Boston, May 17th 2010 - They brought back the original version and I think this is the best one so far. It's beautiful from start to finish.

    Too many Favourite Even Flows to mention, one I really like, may not be the best but Adelaide 2003, mike works red mosquito into the solo!! Great stuff!!

    Also if I ever Compiled a live compilation I'd finish the main set or first encore with Save You / Porch combination from Tokyo or Osaka in 2003. You hardly draw breath from Save You before they slam into Porch
