Setlist looks unbelievable. Best of the tour so far.

Was the venue full? A couple reviews I've read are saying there were between 10-12,000 people there, yet I think the capacity of the Q is 20,000. DId it look empty?

No matter, really. Those that were there were treated to quite a show.

There were defintley more than 10,000 there, despite what the Plain Dealer said. However, the very back of the upper deck was curtioned off. There were less people there than in 2006, and there were more people at the Columbus show the other night, but perhaps the fact that they played Columbus and Buffalo this go around, drew away some of the fans who would normally drive further to see them. And as you sort of implied, those who weren't their missed out, so their loss.

After getting 10C tix to all 4 Spectrum shows I wasnt sure I was going to do a show this go around. My sister bought 10C tix with her number and said lets go. SHE HIT 1ST ROW IN FRONT OF MIKE! It was the best night ever! I thought nothing would beat Philly 3 for me, well being in front of Mike will change that. He showered us with picks and the best part, he busted a string during Unthought Known and stepped down and handed the string to my sister. Then during Alive Ed came over sat right in front of us and slapped us five! Not to mention Its hard for me to get new songs and I got 3! Wash, Sleight of Hand, and Indifference. What a night! Thanks 10C!!!!!

Got an extra pic I can take off your hands?

Show of a lifetime! I won the lottery, front row in front of Mike. My brother, who posted above, and I were SHOCKED, STOKED, STUNNED! It was the fucking best mothers day ever! Mike handed me his busted guitar string in Unthought Known, which is my 3 year olds favorite song. Also got a couple picks, I gave a few to the people behind us too. Ed came over during Alive and slapped hands. Total sweetness. Wash, Immortality, Indifference, Real Me and Sleight of Hand all new for me. Im still trying to process it. Fucking amazing show. Thank you 10c! You totally made my life.

It was a decent show. Middle of the pack for me. Immortality was the highlight for sure. It kicked all sorts of ass. The crowd took away from the show a bit. I was in section 125. The people there were very much into the show. However, such a huge building with a bunch of empty sections and tarped off areas is a bummer.

I also noticed that the noisier songs would garble a bit, maybe due to the cavernous nature of the environment.

For some reason I knew for a fact we would hear wasted reprise in cleveland. I also really dig army reserve and force of nature. It seems each time they play force of nature live the sound mix is improved.

Good stuff. Enjoyed cleveland. Got to see the tribe win. I love flannerys and e 4th street is cool, especially right behind the hotel.

In buffalo now, can't wait for tonight
  • Number 17 for me, and the 3rd show in 4 nights doing the Columbus, Indy, Cleveland shows.

Absolutely amazing setlist, hearing Wash and Leash for the first times. Also The Real Me which Jeff Ament just owns! Descent ground, except for some people in the row behind us that pushed are chairs up against are legs, and freqeuently gave our group a push in the back which got old extremely quick....

Unfortunately this is it for me until possible the next time they come through. Thanks again guys both band members, crew and 10C family, it was a good ride again...

Awesome show! Sure the crowed could have been better, so what, the band was playing like it was 50,000 people jammin as hard as they could, like many said stone rocked out, he hasnt rocked that hard since 92 (must be the hair). Setlist was sick. The opener is by far my favorite part of a show, so I was following the tour closely and getting dissapointed cus they already used most of the good ones, was pretty sure it was gonna be a lame one, I even said to my uncle that wash would be the #1 best opener ever but we agreed it wasnt gonna happen since it's only been done once since 06 and three times since 05, but it happened, and i was in disbelief, best part of the show for sure. All songs that others have mentioned were hihglights as well. I feel special, so many of you saw Leash or Immortality for the 1st time after like 5-15 shows and I've only been to 2 and seen them both twice! Thanks PJ!!!!!

Amazing show! I thought the crowd was great as well, everyone in our sections was loving every second.

Ed seemed to be full of piss and vinegar, which was awesome  . Throwing guitars, almost falling off the stage, classic ED..

Immortality was my favorite, but I thought Why Go was incredible as well. I love Matt's glowing drum sticks!

My experience in Cleveland has been that the arenas are rarely full for concerts. I believe when the curtains are up in the back rows, that is just the set up for concerts. The only time I remember it being completely full was for U2, Metallica, and possibly the Pearl Jam show in '94. Can't remember what the venues were though...I'd rather it be 10k people who were into the show than 20k sitting on their hands.

Cleveland rarely has a FULL arena for concerts? With all due respect, if thats the case, how did Cleveland get the R & R HALL OF FAME?
  • Sick show. Best show of 9 that I've seen. Something about Sunday nights and these guys. Leash, Porch, Black and Wash. I could not have asked for much more. Thanks Pearl Jam and their fans for always making a Pearl Jam party a great party.

Though I would be insanely jealous, you have been to over 50 shows and myself only 4, so I guess you deserve it more than me! :P

Went to Columbus, Indy and Cleveland, the Cleveland show was GREAT I thought, sat in 124 on the lower part sound was good and loud, great set list, Wash, Immortality, Slight of Hand, Leash, Indifference all at the same show. It was show number 32 for me and one of the best I have seen and I started seeing them in 1991.

As for the crowd, I for one have never really given a crap about how the crowd is or if they suck, I watch the concert and pay attention to the band while they are playing. If the crowd did suck as some say they did, the band sure didn't seem to care judging by what and how they played.

Yes there were sections of the arena blocked off, but I have seen that at several show recently, not just Pearl Jam, NEWS FLASH, the economy is bad, not everyone has money to go to concerts or travel hundreds of miles away to see concerts. The other thing also with people complaining about crowds not getting into it, not everyone at the show is a Ten Club member or as much of a fanatic as some, there are people out there that just go to a lot of concerts and Pearl Jam just happens to be one of them.

People on here like to complain to much, the show last night was AWESOME, ENJOY IT for Christs sakes and stop the bitching, no Yellow Ledbetter or RITFW and they played Indifference for the last song, sounds good to me. The three shows I went to I got to see Oceans, Release and Wash as the openers, that was worth the trip from Texas alone!

The 2003 and 2006 Pearl Jam shows were completly full.

They just recently started to curtain off the upper levels. I know they did the whole top for Fleetwood Mac last April
  • I am Just going to echo Cob's post above, couldn't have said it any better myself. All this business of comparing this crowd to that crowd, this set list to that set list is totally ridiculous. Its just trying to make yourselves feel better being a part of what you think was the greatest concert experience known to man.
It is an endless pissing match that will never be won, not now, not tomorrow, not as long as everyone has an opinion.
Just go enjoy a great show and a great experience and stop trying to prop it up or put it down...nobody really gives a shit how it rates on your personal list or show rankings...that's your own deal.

From what I have seen there are a couple different types that post on the fan view threads.

    1. I went to the show, had a great time ...enjoyed the music (What you actually came for).
    2. I went to the show, it was the greatest thing since sliced bread, it was awesome because they played a song Eddie hasn't played since he was a fetus.
3.Didn't go to the show but sounded cool, glad you had a great time.
4.Didn't go to the show, couldn't have possibly been the best show ever, I WAS AT THE BEST SHOW EVER, oh yeah the poster sucked too so there.
5.I went to the show.... and as a precursor they always say something to the effect " I hate to burst everyone's bubble" and then follow up with, the crowd sucked (doesn't really matter, if I came to watch a crowd I would got to the county fair on free cheese day), they didn't play eddies fetus song , this wasn't even close to the show back in BumFuck Egypt back in 96.

That is my assessment of things an in no way it is correct, I had a great time at the show and walked away with a great memory....To many damn top ten lists on this site.
