    I'm not so sure I believe play.com pre-order.

    Its selling for something like £109, which is like....what? $200 American?? Thats way overpriced IMO.

    Also, maybe I'm not doing it right, but I can't find any pre-order listings for it anymore.

A friend of mine is very close to this project and from the sound of it there will be three versions from which to choose. One will be a double disc, the second will be the discs plus a live DVD and the third will be a box set with all that plus vinyl versions, a repro of an original demo cassette and a book. Sounds pretty cool.

    Very cool, sounds similar to the radiohead vinyl boxset, which is amazing.

    I wouldn't be surprised if the date of this release is actually, in part, meant to spike up interest in the band, who could release their new album 1-3 months later. Just a thought.

    They are high profile enough. I don't know if they need to hype right before the new album. I think its just production timing.

    I'm guessing 10c releases the 2 cd, 3 vinyl, and dvd package for about $60. Any higher than that though and I probably wont buy. Even though it sounds so cool already.

    I highly doubt it will be that cheap, but it would be awesome if it was. Though I do think that package will be a 10 Club exclusive.

    I will start saving now. I said before that this is probably a way for Pearl Jam to make more money, but it works. How can you pass on 3 vinyls, 2 CD's and a DVD. I can't wait to see what they put on all those formats.

    Well the Benny had 4 lps and was $35. A DVD is usually about $15. And a double cd usually costs around $15. So I'm guessing it will cost around $65 then?

    $65-75 seems about right. Who knows? Maybe there are a lot of b-sides that we've never heard from the recording of that record. It'll be cool to see what they put in the package.

    My guess is the DVD will be the favorite versions of the last tour. (What they asked us to vote on) It'd be cool if they threw in some new "old" footage, though.

    "Play.com have earmarked a March 23 release date for three versions of the album: a 2CD, DVD & 3 Vinyl Collectors Edition, a 2CD & DVD Deluxe Edition, and a standard 2CD Legacy Edition. Full details are to be confirmed."
