Lala.com the music streaming site is going dead at the end of May. Apparently it was purchased by Apple 5 months ago with the promise that they would operate it for a half year more at least. It looks like they bought it to steal the technology to integrate it to itunes in some fashion. For those who didn't use, the service scanned your library for all the mp3s or aac files you had. If it matched a song on their library, you could stream it online anytime. If the song didn't match one they had, you could upload it to a library to stream. It basically allowed you to access your entire library from any computer, so I used it at work all the time. Anyways, it will be missed I'm sure until Apple comes out with a way to charge us all for the service.
