    Multiple authorizations is par for the course with his system. It happens everytime there is a high demand sale.

    Yeah I hope so too.... I'm not to crushed though, I'm starting to learn not to count on tickets to hard shows and stuff that's limited, etc things are getting to hard to get when its a high demand on their site, unfortunately I dont think their server is capable to handle that many people at the same time..

    I'm ok though, not pissed just kinda bummed, I'll try Friday and see what happens, if I dont get them then I guess it will be next time, I'm still on vacation in Seattle that whole week so its all good.

    PS: I do hope my funds drop before the sale on Friday though...

    I know the Vic presale was a mess for several people. For many, including myself, we didn't even see the link to buy tickets until about 15-20 minutes after they were supposed to go on sale. By that time, the tix were "out of stock."

    I still don't know how that could have happened to some people and not to others.

    I've never experienced that - not even with the ITW-LP, nor with the tickets I bought for the 2006 tour.

    That sucks. I feel bad for those affected.

    That's exactly what happened to me. It crashed during the cc phase, so I didn't think I'd gotten them. When I finally got the buy button again though, it said I could only buy two. After another 20 mins or so I was finally able to check my profile and see that I did indeed have tickets. :)

    I was trying to get tix to both LA shows... i just called my credit card company and they did have an authorization from the 10c but it seemed like i was booted from the server...i dont know where i stand since i did not receive any confirmation emails.

    time will tell.... This happens all the time... they need to look into a better system or more bandwidth on their site...getting way to congested.

    you have to wonder - why is it so difficult for them to upgrade this website? how many times does this need to happen?
    with all the complaining about ticket master, at least you can get through and only get charged once.
    I just do not get what the problem is here...

    Just got this from the 10c staff. I was confirmed with 12th and 13th shows but it timed out - never got the email so i contacted 10c - they were nice enough to write back but weren't able to help - I'm out of luck. Glad i didn't book my flight!

    We are very sorry, but it appears that your order was not accepted by our system and therefore you have not secured any tickets to the April Fools tour through the Ten Club. However, your credit card was authorized for multiple charges but we have no way of retrieving those tickets you attempted to purchase. The authorizations will disappear from your credit card within 3-5 business days.

    Your next chance to purchase tickets to these shows is February 22nd at 10am PST through Ticketmaster.

    We apologize for the inconvenience.

    CC charge pending...no tix or confim email. The page actually timed out while the submit was happening.

    As I mentioned in another thread, why can't they just limit the number of shows that go on sale at one time? Like 2 shows a day. Or 2 shows at 10, 2 more at 2, etc. I'm sure the demand for the 2 LA shows could probably bring the server to it's knees just by themselves, let alone the other shows. That way you don't have the crush of people trying to buy LA getting in the way of people who want to go to one of the other shows. If their server is this limited it seems like this would alleviate a lot of the problems they had Monday.

    As Dunkman explained, this is why... I bet the servers would crash either way because people would probably go for ALL shows anyway.

    its hard to explain but basically if you release them in batches and the only ticket you want is in the last batch and you dont get one then bang goes your chances of getting any... whereas if they all are released at once.. and you see Vancouver is SOLD OUT it gives you another chance at a venue where you might have to travel... but you'll see a show.

    if the server was better it'd cope with a release all in one go... its how every other tour is done.. batch releases would be a backwards step. (see The South fiasco in 06 also... they didnt go for North Tour tickets expecting a release of Southern dates afterwards... it never came!)
