We last played Hold On at the MSG 1 pre-party in June 2008, and we don't know the latter two. None of the three would go over well in the hits factory of Whiskey Bar, though. Much of the crowd is comprised of walk-ups who are casual PJ fans at best. Relay what I told you, Garabed!

What time you guys hitting the stage tonight?? I think Garabed already relayed my request to you.

  • how about "Light Years" for my late sister-in-law Michelle who died almost 7 years ago at the tender age of 33. i don't have any sisters, but she was the 1st that i ever called my Sis. She left behind 3 children who all were under the age of 10. She is very much missed and sometimes I find it hard to hear this song. Life goes on.....
I'd love to memorialize Michelle with Light Years. Problem is, besides the restrictions I outlined in my previous post, we haven't even rehearsed the song in months. How about July 10 in New Brunswick? That I could definitely deliver, what with three hours to cover. The next Old Bay show will be a veritable Binaural/Riot Act-fest.
Guess I'll have to hope PJ plays it in Hartford. :(

I know of Mr. T's request. That's all the information I'm authorized to divulge.

We'll be assuming the stage at 10:30. Industry standard allows bands to advertise 30 minutes prior to actual show time. Whiskey's listing is erroneous.

  • GREAT show fellas!! was cool to see Randy joining in on vocals on "Just Breathe". also took me by surprise with "Sad"(i was hoping to hear that at Sully Hall). trip from Da Bronx was well worth it plus i saved money on the PATH before the fare increase haha!! very good setlist and hearing "Nothing As it Seems" as an opener was awesome.i will come back to the Whiskey in June for sure, maybe even check out that New Brunswick show. well, next stop is Hartford...3 WEEKS!!!!! :D

Once again, SV10 has done No Code the favor of posting a review (in electric blue, no less) and shamed me for slacking in the process (I keed!). The full set list was as follows:

Cheers to SV10, RGarabed21, big hig, TJW98 and any other Ten Clubber who might've joined us for another rockin' night in Hoboken. Special mention to Curvature and her sidekick Dee for their unauthorized commemoration of my top-secret birthday. I truly appreciated the ladies' kindhearted gesture despite my protestations.

Hope to see many you again when we return to Whiskey in 7 short weeks. In the meanwhile, the boys and I are off to see what the fuss is about (Habit-style) with that "other" band at The Rock and at The Garden.
  • You should be thanking your band mates as well. From what I recall, they were the ones singing :)

Precisely why I didn't include them. They'd have the same reaction toward any attempts to play a musical instrument on my part.
