I think I hate my poster framing!

i framed my blue eV east coast poster and asked for double matte and i wanted the matte to go up to the black and not show any white, but they have white showing anyway. also, i think i want the darker matte to be bigger i think.. maybe 2 inches instead of one... i dunno, all i know is that i didnt ask for that white to be there.

what should i do? should i just go back and complain (but in a nice way of course), should i just live with it? would they charge me a lot for sort of redoing it? any help would be great :)

    I think it looks nice. Since there's some white on the poster, it doesn't look wrong to have it around the edge.

    I think it looks good, but you should get what you want. next time, if you are particular, give your instructions in writing and keep a copy for yourself.

    how much does a frame job like that cost? I should get a few of my favs framed for my office, but it seems like an investment from what I have read on the board.

    it does look nice, but I wouldn't put the tickets directly on the print-overtime that could cause irregular shading

    personally i dont think that looks all that bad, well not to hte point i would hate it lol, but its up to what you like and what you have to look at everyday, so it should be what makes you happy. i would suggest, a larger top mat and just a pin stripe of the light blue....like i did on my duss http://i139.photobucket.com/albums/q320/gdfraser/framed%20posters/DSCI0312.jpg if you have to pay, which i dont think you should since its not what you wanted, it shouldnt be much. the cost of two new mats because the frame and glass wont be changed.

    i can understand why you may not like it, I think it looks really good. Personally, I believe that the colors around the edge, the white and blues, compliment the poster pretty well. :)
