Listening to Q104.3 the DJ said during the intro to Alive that PJ was playing May 20 and 21 at MSG and I could swear he said "and August 4th at PNC"...
I do not think I was hearing things...nothing official posted anywhere...so we'll have to see...

That's the NJ Performing Arts Center in Newark where Ed played solo.
The OP is talking about PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel where the band finished the 2003 US tour.
I cross my fingers that they play in Holmdel again - it would be nice to only have to travel 20 minutes for a show.
*the in between is mine*
yup, sounds like you're way too familiar with the rules and regulations at PNC.....
if you actually understood, they ban tailgates at certain events, ie when there are a predominantly under 21 crowd attending (Jonas Brothers, No Doubt, Paramore, etc...)
Shows that had Deep Purple/Skynyrd, Rush, Tool, etc....tailgating wasn't barred whatsoever. In Camden, people were getting tickets left and right for having beer canisters in the open.
You tell me which is better....
also...my buddy heard the DJ on 104.3 say it as well...he wasn't too sure of the date either.
PNC is a nice venue, I won't knock that
have fun not tailgating! See my previous post...you'll be sure to find Green Day falling into 1 of the 6 shows that they do not allow tailgating at.
this information, along with PNC august 4th could only mean mini east coast tour surrounding lollapalooza.
That's quite a risk of over-saturation, yes, even for this band.

man what a sick show it would be PEARL JAM WITH IRON MAIDEN my fuckin god that would be sick
I wonder though if PJ will fall into the no fun rules. I know they don't draw a young crowd so we will see.

I have it on now, will listen as much as I can to find out. Beatles(Tomorrow Never knows) on now so I can't complain.
Ugh... now the Doors, if they play Pink Floyd I am out.

Your right, that place was beautiful.
but i would definitely be there for this if it happened
so , as much as I dont want this to be true, that would make it possible for mopre shows at Jones Beach perhaps,..
I realize these venues were at one time Live Nation Venues, not sure who owns them / runs them , now.
That it ain't no sin to be glad you're alive
