I was at a small tiny club show on St Patty's Day the other night, and wasn't expecting much, especially with a crowd of about 40 people. My GF was meeting up with some friends. This band came on, and really sounded awesome.

It's nice to be surprised.

Anyway, here's a video.

The songs they have playing on their myspace aren't the best on the record, but worth a listen too.

Cheers! Took me a few looks over to find "Stokes" to be wrong. :D

...anyway, the CD was well worth the $10.

Worth a quick watch of the video at least. :)

Did you just see them with Portugal. The Man? My girlfriend just went to see The Dig, Port O'Brien and Portugal the Man the other night and said the Dig were awesome. She bought the Dig and Port O'Brien cd's and we have a good bit of Portugal the Man who are very awesome. If you havent heard them yet check them out.

Also, Port O'Brien is really good too. They of a Band of Horses style to them. Check out "Calm Me Down" by them

Yup, they were opening for Portugal, The Man. My GF was meeting up with a few college friends who drove to town to see Portugal, but The Dig is what caught my attention. Again, I wasn't expecting to hear anything great that night, but The Dig was really good.

I'll have to check out those other bands!
