    hate to rain on anyone's parade, and I don't mean any disrespect, but this request has no chance in hell of happening. I'd recommend starting a new request thread with a song that has a chance of actually being played

    first of all i didnt open a thread and request the song...i love that song ,especially the solo and my opinion is that mike will blow my mind with the solo..a friend from Scotland start this for the reason he explain in the OP and couse he knows i want that pj to cover it..really im exciting for all this positive post..i know this probably never happen but u never know..i dont think that alot of u can be negative to someone dreams or wants. And i guess couldnt ever imagine that u go to a pj show and u see live on stage someone propose to his girlfriend to married him and eddie play a song for them..
    i love the band,im a fan the same as u all.u can count levels of fans love..there is no bigger fan.faithfull yes..
    if they ever play it i ll be the happiest man on earth..if not ill fuckin rockin the place with every song they play

    Nicely put D! Like the man says the post was put up for my reasons, he was completely unaware and that was a decision I made, nothing to do with Dimitris. If someone is more deserving of a request whether it's a PJ song or a cover then by all means I support that too but if the thought of PJ covering Freebird makes you gag then you shouldn't read the post. The hope is that enough people back it and someone takes notice, not that I think the band are here reading this but if they are I don't think they're saying, "Fuck this, Uncle Neil wouldn't approve." It's only a request guys and it's only music and a bit of fun to pass the hours for a few people who care more about the music than the politics that surround it. I'll back up your request when it comes but meantime this is a chance in a million for a true fan to get something back for what he does for his fellow fans and if he doesn't get it he still rocks his hardest for PJ for 11 shows this summer! How many happier people do you know? :D

    its no cheesier than ALive or Even FLow or any other great classic arena rocker.

    if you like anything off of Backspacer, you have no ability to judge a song's cheesiness anyway.
