a few years ago, members were only allowed to purchase tix to two shows. Should we go back to that? If it helps more people to see their favorite band, and more members get to benefit from their membership is that better?

The price of these tickets is just getting flat out ridiculous. It doesn't bother Eddie at all that even the band's younger fans are stuck pay almost 100 fucking dollars to see a show?! It's fucking outrageous. Which day of his life in the past ten years did he wake up and say fuck it, I don't care what the fans have to pay anymore? Almost makes going to a PJ show feel a bit tainted when you have to pay out the ass for it.

I've learned that there's always PJ tickets available well under face the week of the show, so I'm sticking to that route for the time being. After being put in the 400-section in Philly, the 10C can really kiss my ass... talk about putting the venue's ticket sales before the fans!

I guess it's a good thing I love PJ so fucking much, but I do have to wonder what has become of their ideals at this point...

It's obvious that you are one of the YOUNGER fans. You sound 12.
This might be a stretch.. but many lawyers and other professoinals get hundred of dollars an hour. The way I see it, if PJ is playing a 2 1/2 hour show, I am paying them $30/hr. That's five bucks per bandmate. Pretty damn cheap if you ask me.

Why would it be a difference to Eddie if the 'younger fans' have to pay more? I'm not that young, and I don't have too much money, but it doenst bother me at all...

Also, did it ever occur to you that if tickets were 40 buck like the old days, that they would sell out 2X faster and you might have less a chance of scoring good seats first?
+1..its 2010...its music and isnt for free..its the best rock band in the world...85 $ is like steal from them..as for their ideals going i dont care..ed,can talk about it with his friends,or family..i m a fan of a band they play music....in their lifes they can do whatever they want, believe what ever..i care about their music the one that its still in HIGH LEVEL.........and im ok PAYING for have this unique experience..

No complaint here....just a real easy suggestion.

Couldn't someone from 10c come on here and just say something along the lines of:

"Hey 10 clubbers, we're really sorry things didn't work out for some of you with the MSG shows. We did a lot of work on our end and apparently the issues still aren't resolved and for that....we are sorry. We assure you we are looking into other fixes"

I think a little apology on their end might go a long way right now.

Feed the crazies bullshit if you must but feed them something.

  • Hey, I'm happy with the fact that you can call the 10c a get a live person on the phone-that's pretty awesome. Also, they don't sue their fans and send endless takedown notices and legal threats to fans the way Prince's people do all the time. And shutdown fan-run websites. Although it is slightly easier to get Prince tickets...hmmm maybe they're onto something.

By far the best post in the history of this board!
  • HI whiners and complainers. My posts are usually pretty generic, memories of shows i've been to, well wishes for all Jamily members, shit like that. I think I've posted a total of 10 times, so fuck me right. Well here goes...Trying to get tickets to a show in the northeast (which I did,for Boston, and have been shut only once since this system went into effect) and I've been a member for 15 years, #113XXX. I won't go into detail about the great seats to numerous shows I've seen. Including 2 at MSG last time they were there. ROW 8 center, both nights. (sorry, had to zing the NY'ers pissed about out of towners at MSG.) fUCKING PLEASE!......We all know how hard it is to get tix to these shows. I posted earlier about how I logged off the system and back in after refreshing my ass of and getting nowwhere. After a boring morning at work, and reading all these posts, I had to respond to a couple of things.
    1. the same people that are moaning about not getting tix, would be the same people gloating and telling people NOT to bitch if THEY did'nt. I hate fucking hypocrites.
    2. Anyone here understand economics? Its supply and demand. More demand and less supply. Don't you think if they could, 10c would fly over your town in a helicopter and sprinkle tickets on your fucking heads? its just not possible.
    3. Ticket prices are fair for the seats you get (if you get them) as I posted earlier, A premium seat to U2 on the last tour was 250.00 + all the bullshit fees that brought it up to almost 3 bills. THATS OVER PRICED. and I love U2, only reason I was able to attend is I was given a ticket by a good friend who had an extra.
    4. It's a fucking concert, it's not life threatening
    5. Lastly, to the puke from Ny who said he would'nt want to come to Boston, as it is a crap hole. Have you looked out your window lately. Congetion, traffic, noise, trash everywhere, rude fuckers, thats just the tip of the iceberg. Boston has: top schools, top hospitals, top sports fans and teams, top culture, great people. I could go go on.
THESE ARE MY OPINIONS, YOU CAN AGREE, FLAME ME, TELL ME TO GO F MYSELF, I DON'T REALLY CARE. BUT I FEEL ALOT BETTER SAYING WHAT I FELT, RATHER THAN JUST KEEP IT IN, IT'S NOT HEALTHY.
PEACE, SEE YOU ON THE ROAD.
