Hoping to join the pre-party, along with my Brother-in-Law who has to work part of the day in Fort Wayne on 7-May. Any suggestions on what time I need to kidnap him from his job in order to catch the start of the BOH show?

Yes the hotel is walking distance. It will probably take you less time too to just walk from there rather than waiting in line to park your car.

Wow, so it is in walking distance! I got my room on the cheap to! can't wait to go and party it up! is there sidewalks are are we just walking to Deer Creek on the street? Should I buy VIP parking just in case?

From the maps, there looks to be sidewalks... and a hotel full of Pearl Jam fans... I think majority will be walking also!!

Yeah, I just looked again. There are definately sidewalks all the way to the parking area of the venue... we should be good to party hard all day and not worry about driving at all!

Where is the furthest someone is traveling for this show?
  • I'm staying at Hotel Indigo in Fishers, they are booked up at hotels.com but not priceline.com, it's only 79 bucks a night, and has a indoor pool, and I have read nothing but good things about the hotel, if more jammers are interested in a good hotel cheap.

Bud it looks like I'm staying there too. Hope to catch up on some old Nashville times!

Oh and somebody add me to the going to the show list!

I'm coming from Columbia, SC but I'm sure there will be people coming from further away since this isn't a full-blown tour. My brother lives in Indy so add us to the list!! Sounds like getting in and out of this venue is a nightmare.....do I need to fly in early and have him take the afternoon off? Sounds like it.....
    Thanks, Pat

  • I booked a room at the Hilton in N.Indy for $89. It says its only 12 miles (all interstate) away so I'm hoping all works out well. Look forward to seeing you all there :D

Count my brother and I in. He's coming up from Cincinnati and I'm driving down from Chicago. It'll be my 11th PJ show and his 1st. Staying at the Super 8. I'm afraid it's going to be gross, but figure I'll be drunk enough to not care!

I wonder if it would be better to try parking at the pre-party and driving back from there or getting the VIP parking?

Anyone going to STL or Columbus?

Personally I would park at the pre-party and walk out before paying for VIP, IMO! Hope to see you at the party!!

I would leave at 3 or 4 at the very latest, that will put you in Indy at 5-6, in time to divert any disasters!

Sounds good, you may want to consider parking at the pre-party and walking over instead of parking at the venue, just so you don't get stuck in that traffic that could take you an hour or more to get out of the lot! Just a suggestion!

I'm coming from North Carolina (via Columbus show the night before).. any other southerners/North Carolinians going to be in attendance ??? After all this drama about Boston and NYC and getting 10C tickets, i'm glad things went as smooth as they did for Indy and Columbus !

    I'll be there as well.

1st post.... 1st time to Indianapolis. If you've been there, besides the bad traffic problem everyone's talking about, how is this venue otherwise?

I saw then many years ago in Noblesville... But, it was my first Pearl jam show, meaning I am very biased by my total enjoyment of that show. If I do recall, the sound was great and the crowd participation was fantastic.

Quoting for positive attitude and not having to worry about the madness that is an east coast 10c purchase.

We may not get as many shows as the east coasters.. but when a show does come around.. we always get tix!!
