My Ticket Strategy

My secret has been opening up 3 Firefox browsers at the same time, all about 30 minutes prior to the tickets going on sale and all logged into the page where the tickets are posted. About 1 minute before the sale time, I start refreshing on all 3.
Once I see the tickets on at least one browser page I click on it (keep refreshing the other 2 if they are timing out). If i get a buy buy button I click that. Then (this is the important part). If it times out AFTER you were able to click the buy button don't try going back and trying to get another buy button. Up top click the "View Cart" or "Checkout" link. Do this on all your browsers you have that option available. If you were able to click the buy button they should be in your cart even if it timed out (they always have been for me).
Then try to continue though the steps on all of your browsers until you reach the credit card info page. Here I usually use just one browser that gets to that point in case entering my cc info in multiple locations and clicking continue would screw something up.
I have also found it helpful that if you don't get a blue progress bar of the page loading after about 45s to 1min, hit stop then refresh again.
This worked for me for Boston and both MSG shows.

I tried similar with Chrome for the first MSG sale, and then with IE for the second. And I work for an ISP. Luck definitely plays into it sometimes.
