I've been in Seattle 3 of 4 weeks a month as it is for awhile, seems like a good idea to do something other than work, lol. I don't mind organizing a BBQ if I can get some assistance locally.

I'm thinking same area as the BBQ the Friday night before the Gorge shows in 2006.

I may be in town that entire week before or maybe not, but I'm off Thursday through Sunday (May 1st - 4th) and in town, so it should be pretty easy. I'll bring the coals, everyone that wants to show up, bring some food, drinks, guitars, etc...

Ticket bought! Are the service charges more in the USA then in Canada? Man it adds up. Can't wait.

Got my ticket. The approximately $30 for night that includes FTM , a Hendrix tribute , and a partial Shadow and Rockfords reunion. PRICELESS!!

Sounds good- I'll block off the evening before the show for the BBQ. I just bought a house a bit up the hill from Alki, and David and Lisa are a short walk away from me too, so this won't be too hard.

I think the hardest thing about throwing the BBQ in the past was getting people directions to the beach after they got lost on Harbor Island somewhere... This seems like it'd be mostly a local Seattle crowd, so that should be less of a problem.

Um.. that'd be me :o We got lost last year and missed the beach party completely!

So yeah... I'll MapQuest in advance (though I think MapQuest was partially the culprit of pointing us the wrong way!) but additional directions would be appreciated :D
