I called the 10C and spoke to a woman (Kat?) about my idea for the Pearl Jam Whaler's shirt idea. She said she's not sure if they're doing a sports theme this time, but she said to e-mail the 10C about my idea and to see if they can pass it along to the company that makes shirts for the shows. I'm about to e-mail them now about that. Let's hope they get back to me. I explained to the woman that the Whalers were the only professional sports team CT ever had and it sounded like she liked my idea.
If this happens I shal buy you a Guinness and a shot Bushmills

Before you rowdy Hartfordites start tailgating, make sure YOU GET YOUR TIX AT WILLCALL FIRST. Remember, the Meadows in 2008? At least 200 people in line one hour before the show. You have to go in the afternoon, get your stuff and then party like a rockstar.

Question for Ct'ers....I grew up in Ct, but currently live in Chicago, but will be flying in for the show...Is Coaches Corner (Calhouns Place) still open, went there last year before Uconn Pitt and it was a pretty good time. If not open or you have a better suggestion, please fire away.

I was just looking at bars/preparty stuff and it seems the Sweet Jane's website is down. Is that place still open??? That owner was a huge PJ fan and hooked us up big time with the preparty. If that place is closed, then I would recommend Black Eyed Sally's/Pig's Eye as a 2nd choice. Parking lot across the street...1 block from XL Center. Very do-able but will fill fast.

*edit* just tried calling Sweet Jane's and the # is outta service!!! :o

I wasn't a member back in 2008, but I saw a lot of comments about that. Once I get to the Civic Center, I'm going to Will Call to get my tickets. Seriously cannot wait for this show to happen. Partying will happen AFTER I get my ticket.

Have they ever played the Xl Center? I am surprised they are not playing Mohegan Sun instead. I am not complaining as I live closer to Hartford.

Nope and thank god no Mohegan. From Waterbury, that's a good hour to hour and a half.

HEY, I'm originally from the Dirty Water myself - carpool and preparty together???!!
