    Well i must say i don´t like TCV i saw them last year at Pukkelpop festival and they really dissapoint me....ok 3 great men playing but that doesen´t mean the music is good ....if Dave would do the vocals THAT would really be a big difference...

    I am going!!

    It is the only gig/festival i will be doing. I will be in Paris actually, and will take a train to Brussels and figure out the rest once I get there. Apparently I have to go to Leuven and then take a festival bus to get there.

    Is anyone leaving from Paris or Brussels by car, and has room for one fan? (that being me) :mrgreen:

    I am so happy I will be there I don't even care if I have to walk the whole distance.
    I plan to return to Paris after the show (eventually) and meet up with a friend there

    Yep I changes my tour plans. Just hope no tix sell out.

    I don't know how anyone can dislike TCV. I love their album and thorugh their live show rocked. Then again I didnt see them at a festival, but instead at a club.

    Personally I'd prefer Dave play drums then sing.

    Basically Josh needs to reform Kyuss as they shit all over TCV. When i saw them one of their jams were cool but at the end of the day Dave saves them from complete disaster.

    Yes Buru - I believe the festival ticket includes a trian to and from the festival - coming from Brussels too. I'm sure the train will be packed with festival goers. Someone else might have to confirm all that though - I'm just a newb.

    true..shewill pay the paris brussel tic and from there to leauven,and from leauven to werchter with the venue buses are all free

    the ticket includes travel to and back from anywhere in Belgium... so if you come from France, just get a ticket to the first stop after the border (assuming it's cheaper, if you take Thalys ie fast train it probably won't) then the rest is free. You have to order your free train ride to Leuven (details are given with your ticket.. ), then from Leuven there's a bus shuttle to Werchter if you have a e-ticket (basically anyone overseas):
    IMPORTANT
    • Contrary to the other festival tickets, e-festival tickets are NOT valid for travelling by train.
    • However, each e-festival ticket gives the right to one free E-TRAIN TICKET which can be ordered as from June 2nd 2010,
    on http://www.sncb.be/rockwerchter with the SNCB code mentioned on your e-festival ticket.
    • attention: all e-train tickets are designated by name, therefore not transferable nor can they be exchanged or cancelled.
    • The e-train tickets are valid for one outward and one return journey in 2nd class from the Belgian station chosen by you
    to LEUVEN and for the final outward and return stretch by buses of DE LIJN leaving from the LEUVEN station to the festival
    park at Werchter in the period of Thursday, July 1st 2010 until Monday, July 5th 2010.
    • attention: travellers who have Brussel-Nationaal-Luchthaven as departure or destination station have to pay the Diabolo fee.
    The festival-goers have to keep their e-train ticket. The e-train tickets must always be presented spontaneously and
    together with the identity card for both the outward and return journey
    Brussel-Nationaal-Luchthaven is the airport but I have no idea what that Diabolo is.. when I went back to the airport in 07 we didn't pay anything extra but this thing seems recent.
    Going to have to try to sort out for this year actually since I'm flying in belgium but training out how that train thing is going to work :?
    edit: actually, Eurostar ticket also included transport anywhere in Belgium so I guess I'll just get the train option from the airport and back and not use the return.

    If anyone has any questions regarding the festival itself, just ask. I've been there 10 times (from '99 to '08) and I am returning this year after one year of rest. :D
