    It shows how war fucks up families. I wrote my own song inspired by army reserve and especially this line.

    The last time I saw my Dad alive was when I passed him in the hall on my way to bed. I was mad at him (kinda) and didn't say anything to him. He died that night. This happened the night of Dec 28, 2002 right around the release of Riot Act. This could have been written by me.

    Wow, you read them all and they MEAN something to all of us all the time. I can't pick one lyric that means the most, I guess that's why they're my favorite band.

    However, if I had to pick one that I live by it would be this one...

    I'm a financial analyst so I am definitely a strong believer in planning for the future but I think sometimes we all get caught up in the thought that we need to bust our asses everyday to build our nest eggs (in whatever form that may be) for the future...but what if there is no tommorrow?

    This lyric made me start thinking differently about life, not irresponsibly....just prioritizing differently.
