Hey guys, I find the whole online dating thing a bit scary really. I have been single for jjust over 5 years. After an 8year relationship, I really needed time out to focus on myself...oh and a baby!! I keep looking at rsvp (australia) etc and just get freaked out by it all. Well maybe 2010 will be my year...that's if the freaking govt deptartments I am dealing with nat the moment get things happening so I can finally start trading with my new business. I'll be seeing different people all the time, so who knows. With my current job, working at night severely limits who you see, and how much time you have to meet new people. Generally i'M asleep while evertyone is working, and I'm working while they are asleep or going out. So it kinda sucks. Otherwise I'll just have to wait for one of the Pj guys to call me!!!!!LOL

I have been talking to a girl thru the site I’m on for about a month now …she has an eloquent, interesting profile…similar interests and ideals…and she’s beyond gorgeous - totally attracted to her…I was sucked in halfway thru reading her description…I get to the end and what do I see? A list of bands, with PJ included, and a specific mention of Ed and Into the Wild. :shock: bonus!
I’ve talked to her on the phone a couple times this week, and we seem to have a ton in common….hoping to meet her soon, but there are some complicating factors that will force things to progress slowly (not a bad thing, I suppose)…so I’m in ‘stay calm, don’t lay it on too thick’ mode…..Probably too early to be excited, or to even be mentioning her to people…but I thought of this thread when I first started talking to her
