    I think you should substitute "revisiting history" for "revisionist history."

    Revisionist history would be like someone saying they bought Ten the day it came out when they never even heard of Pearl Jam before Riot Act.

    I didn't say anywhere that I want them to have an album that sounds the same as (insert whatever u like). I think they had a good formula with Stone writing a bunch and BOB doing a good job capturing the bands intensity. Binaural is a gem to me, and I'm glad they did that record.Back in '93 I was 12 years old, no where near a campus...a bong in a few more years :D


    I respect your opinion, and agree with most. I just think the overall SOUND of the next record will be a big improvement

    The GNR album is a heeping pile of aardvark shit. GNR fans are embarresed that the album took 32 years and Axel has said he's a perfectionist and this album will be a masterpiece. So what you have is GNR's fans are saying "oh it's pretty good, different but it rocks". When inside they know it really does suck. Listening to it, you'd think the singer was a botox obseesed dreadlock wienie who got his ass kicked by Tommy Hilfiger. But of course this isn't the case here :rolleyes:.

    if anything........i would say PJ never left form.............metallica and guns n roses are just trying to recreate themselves.

    16 years and axl comes out with pure crap!!!
    there is maybe 1 ok song out of the lot i have heard

    it is not gun's and Roses, it is Axl Rose and it is rubbish!

    Metallica on the other hand is great, death magnetic is a good album

    PJ... they never left form, sure they had Riot act ehich i am not a huge fan of, but i don't see how they ever lost it!

    Hopefully they won't have the sound issues Metallica have. I'd be really fucking shocked if they did though.
