    I've been to about 400 concerts since 1980 and I can tell you one thing, about 3 or 4 years ago I stopped buying tickets for concerts when they go on sale. I am a 10 Club member, but have never requested tickets.

    The last 8 times I have seen Pearl Jam I did not buy a ticket from Ticketmaster or the band.

    2003 San Antonio, got in my car a drove from Austin to the show, got out of my car and bought a reserved seat for $25.00. 2003 Dallas, bought a reserved seat for $30.00 in the parking lot.

    2005 Gorge, my friend bought 2 reserved seats on Ebay for below face value, even after they were mailed to us. 2005 Monterey, Mx, my friend and I flew to Mexico with no tickets, met someone on the plane who had extras for face value.

    2006 San Francisco, went all 3 nights, bought tickets on Craigslist and outside the show. At Lolla there were still tix available the day of the show.

    I would join the 10 Club, but don't sweat the ticket thing so much, the X-mas single and Deep are worth it alone, if you get good tickets that's just a bonus....

    yeah and it's never a problem to get tickets outside the show, unless it's irving plaza or the vic :)
    Wouldn't it be funny if the world ended in 2010, with lots of fire?

    Well you can never be too careful. As far as stupidest rumor ever.. thats a bit harsh. I think the stupidest rumor ever regarding Pearl Jam was the idea that Eddie would leave Pearl Jam to head the Doors. Yeah he is going to leave his own band to go cover someone else's songs and be forever compared to the original... yeah... ok.. good one. Whoever beleived that might happen does not have adequate reasoning skills.

    Speaking of rumors...On to the best 25 rock rumors of all time! PJ on there by the way...

    Joining now, you'd be something like 420xxx.

    380xxx got me 13th row in Sydney, and something similar in Melbourne. That's basically what you'd be looking at. Mind you, 10c doesn't have a history of getting an allocation beyond the 1st show in each city when they tour here.

    Cool, from the post of your fellow Aussie's you'll be pretty good with any number, just stay away from the Phila PA show's. With that number you'll be sitting in Upper Darby...I usually get around 20th row with 185xxx

    Fuck, well considering I have never been out of Australia :( somehow i don't think that seems likely. IO got my fingers crossed.
