Question for those who can remember: What was the time frame from Kat's tweet about the Philly dates before they actually were announced? I remember the tweet about "cheese steaks on the east coast" or something and then not long after dates were announced. If May is indeed coming for a tour, a tweet should be happening soon.0

Tweet came Jul 03, 2009....so roughly 4 months before the shows.0 -

Tickets for the first two Philly shows went on sale July 15 -- three and a half months before the shows.

Contrary to anything I've heard so far, I think these dates may happen as early as March (for NYC at least). The calendar at MSG is has some room 3/9-3/13 and I have reason to believe (can't reveal source...sorry!) they may be targeting a day (or two, or three???) in there. Obviously, we'd love to have them back in May/June as well if that fits into their pre-Europe plans as well but I doubt we'll be that lucky.
If I'm right, then I'd expect the announcement to happen really soon...we shall see.'98: 8/22

the only way I could see that is because a) they don't want to wait for playoff schedules to see what venues are available in May or b) they want a break between some US dates and Europe.0 -

Looks like someone works in tax. Haha. Just occurred to me that the Big East Tournament will be at MSG during the bulk of that stretch (as it always is), so if they are in town we're looking at shows at Izod/Prudential/Nassau etc. Definitely not choice but what can you do - at least we got MSG last year...'98: 8/22

Gotcha. A box office manager would have some knowledge, but only when something is booked, which as of my last check with my contact in another department, hasn't happened yet. ...and the BO manager's offices are WAY in the back, but if you try to ask "when do the pearl jam tickets go on sale?" as if you already know they are playing, they'll assume it's been announced on the radio or something and tell you, but that's if they have the info at all. ADD 5,200 to the post count you see, thank you.

I think it would be cool to see "PEARL JAM" on the marquee at radio city instead of ANY outdoor venue in the tri-sate area (except maybe holmdel)0
