Well I am seeing Disney on Ice: Princess Classics with my 4 year old grandaughter. Front row, VIP tickets were cheaper than P.J. She did see E.V. solo last year.

I am a big fan of both, but for separate reasons. I don't think I would want that as a double bill - and that's after 40+ Hip shows, and 15 or so PJ.
I can see that. They are very different bands with very different types/styles of energy. That said, I would love the double bill just because it lets me see two amazing bands in one night.

  • see home page. If Mike is playing in Seattle in late April, I guess that means no dates around then?
  • But a tour routing is still a work in progress, due to Cameron's prior commitments to play with Pearl Jam in the spring and summer of next year.

  • I say they're waiting until next week, Wednesday possibly Thursday to announce dates with 10C onsale the following week. Of course I'm on vacation the "following week" so I'm soooo hoping this is true, but I really do think it's happening. If they're playing Jazzfest the first week of May I doubt there will be no other tour dates around that time. Jazzfest may be big but I can't imagine it's as big of a money maker as Lollapalooza, and honestly 07 was a rarity for PJ touring if you look at their history. People aren't going to be quite as willing to spend the cash to travel this year to the one and only US show as they were in 07.

I still have my Lolla ticket from 2007 since my flight from Laguardia never took off and I never got out there. Sucked. Anyway, my March prediction (pg13 of this post i think?) was half true since they are playing SNL that night. Too bad it isn't somewhere private like that. But, still holding onto hope for late May/early June pre-Europe...

It funny...the Given to Fly section is for touring news, right? I always use to think it meant that the band was given to fly and tour around the world.

Well, now it seems more like they are asking their fans to fly all over to see them since they don't do proper tours anymore. Wouldn't be as bad if they gave some notice too...but alas, we get what we get.

I think Backspacer will fall by the wayside for most fans unless they get a chance to hear a Backspacer tour. There will be nothing to attach the songs on the album too without it.

  • All you guys are so full of shit. There's someone on these forums once a week talking about how they know someone who knows someone who heard something. This has been going on for months. Save it! I'll rely on when the band actually makes the announcement.

I'm gonna take a guess and say in May, 10club will reveal East Coast NA Pearl Jam show's for the month of August/September & early June reveal West Coast NA Pearl Jam show's for the month of October/November. AKA 10/10/10 anni! ;)

i know i know...they'll let us know when they can let us know....but man, i'd like some news!
i especially would like to know when tix sales, if these shows are to happen, will be....b/c i am a wee bit nervous as to the timing. i really thought IF the shows were happening, we'd have had sales already, or perhaps that was simply wishful thinking. work gets scary next week, then calms for a couple weeks...then crazy busy april 1-15th...so yea....i don't want to miss out on even just the chance for 10c tix. ugh...... :? :D:lol:

and demetrios, i soooooooo hope you're wrong about NE in august-september, tho i know it's just a wild guess on your part. the only thing worse than tix sales in early april...is actual shows (or tix sales) late august thru september 15th!!! the absolutely worst time in my line of work. so yea.....shows in may, or june.....or late july, early august. all good. and sure, october, wherever! 8-)
    Stay with me...
    Let's just breathe...

I am myself like you somehow

They played ACL in October! It isn't the east coast's fault that the population of TX can fit between Boston & DC roughly three times either. Over half of the country lives what are defined as coastal areas which is why the middle of the country, by and large, gets leftovers. This is why I pay what I pay to rent a NYC apartment - I never have to bitch and moan like someone who lives in Boise about my favorite band only coming there once every 20yrs.

Cmj shouldn't be cracking at people bro cuz not for nothing you got all over me cuz I said something to that about you. You went on talking about seeds being planted and shit about rain bringing flowers blah blah blah. Who the fuck cares who said it first. At this point in time BOTH of you are wrong and when they do announce shows then you can shoot your load about being first with the news. We all get it bro you're a BIG pearl jam fan as is all of us are. Stop being a dick about it. We all know you wanted to be the first with the news but until now, there's no news bro. So no need to prematurely ejaculate yet. Go ahead now and attack my spelling or put up whatever pic you want to make fun of me. Oh I'm sure I've spelled a ton of shit wrong but I'm not perfect like you so I dnt give a fuck. Instead of coming off as a dick maybe you could come off as a fan who really wants to help other members out like you claimed you did with people requesting there vacation time around your seeds being planted thread. Chill, relax, who the fuck cares who's got the bigger dick bro. It's about pearl jam not about us. Go ahead bro, attack me now.

Once again, after your numerous rambles (over many pages in this thread) I couldn't get very far before losing interest in what you were saying.

But, anyway, precisely how am I wrong? I'd like you to post a direct quote of mine where I am incorrect. Maybe then I'll be interested in reading your rambles.
