    Ok, I didn't need to hear that, after all I have a child with Down syndrome. But, at the same time, Levi is hardly believable in what he says either. I hope it's not an Alaskan thing, perhaps it's just a Wasilla or anyone close to the family that may be off their rocker.

    Palin cut funding for special needs citizens in Alaska in the last few years, before Trig was born. So you can see how important special needs funding was to her. Now? What has she done since her last child was born, and has she done anything for the Down syndrome community regarding legislation or even awareness, charity, funding (before she left office)? Nothing. That tells a lot how she feels about her son's cause. She had a seat of power and could have really made a difference in the Down syndrome community. Instead she chose to use her son for sympathy votes.

    could it be because of what i said earlier? that baby was a political tool and she lost the election. now she is not in a position of power so she can not do anything legislatively, but she CAN lend her name to charities and fundraisers. i wonder why she has yet to do anything like that?? i am thinking that poor baby trig is most likely being raised by a nanny or bristol or something :(

    How gullible have people become? Its no surprise that she would join Fox Entertainment, hell Hannity would have crossed over to liberalism had they not given her a job. Where was God's Plan when she allowed a practicing African witch hunter to 'lay hands' on her to seeking cleanse her spirit? Cleansing from what, pygmies or mandigo dreams. None of this is God's Plan, its just another former politician leaving one cushy job for another.     The least Palin could be to her son is be his advocate, and all she has to do is lend her name in the DS community, but does not. If that's not a judge of character, I don't know what is. Before she got big in the news, I remember reading about her having her baby, yet only took 4 days maternity leave for him, before returning to work. 4 days.

    I am continually disgusted with the way other's constantly judge other's people decisions in how they raise their kids, etc. Of course if they are dangerous actions, etc that is one thing. But everywhere people are judging women for going back to work "too soon"...not breast-feeding...sending their kids to daycares...for the love of god, there is more than 1 way to raise a child.

    Yep, you're right, it's wrong to judge her for the way she chooses to raise her kids. And because of that, I almost didn't write that about her 4 day maternity leave. Because who am I to say how much time she should take off, or whether she's right or wrong in how she prioritizes her life? BUT, because I know what it's like -- it's life-altering enough to have a baby, let alone a baby with a disability, but to disregard that adjustment period and to leave to go back to work...after less than one week...in addition to how she's carried herself publicly with Trig...and spewing that she supports the DS community, yet she doesn't walk the walk...well, she's done it all out in public.

    If you have it, LOOK in it and find where it says that she actually authored it. Having her name on the cover with no "By..." or "Written as told by..." does not prove that she wrote it. Seriously, look in the front and back inside front covers.
