    60 Minutes last night:

"Her foreign policy tutors are literally taking her through, 'This is World War I, this is World War II, this is the Korean War,'" Heilemann told "60 Minutes." "This is the -- how the Cold War worked. Steve Schmidt had gone to them and said, 'She knows nothing.'"

Schmidt has no reason to lie about this, it just makes him look like an idiot for picking her in the first place.

Classic move. I thought she hated the media... now she is apart of it.

That would be networks like NBC MSNBC ect, All the ones that smeared her and her family. You people can say what you want to say about her,but I can tell you this much after reading the first few chapters of her book she' didn't have an easy life growing up and she's a lot tougher than you might think.

I don't agree with her quitting her job as governer and I wouldn't vote for her as president either. But that doesn't mean I hate her like some of you do.
Palin didn't write that book. Look in it and you'll notice that it says nowhere that she authored it.

    Um Ok :?

Hopefully someone will attempt to explain the history of the Ottoman Empire to her too....and "The Great Game" history, as in Central Asia. :ugeek:

    Yes, that's the book.
If you have it, LOOK in it and find where it says that she actually authored it. Having her name on the cover with no "By..." or "Written as told by..." does not prove that she wrote it. Seriously, look in the front and back inside front covers.
Prfctlefts - I'm not trying to be a jerk, I'm just trying to point out that she didn't truly write this book.

Why do you continue to do this to yourself. This is from your amazon post and like someone else said I think it was gimmesometruth about a ghost writer......
    From The Washington Post

From The Washington Post's Book World/washingtonpost.com Reviewed by by Matthew Continetti Like a lot of people, as soon as I got my copy of Sarah Palin's "Going Rogue," I immediately thought of the German literary critic Hans Robert Jauss. Jauss is known as the father of critical reception theory. According to Jauss, every book is read in a social context. In his view, the reader's attitudes, beliefs, values and judgments are just as important as the text. Sometimes more. Palin probably didn't set out to write a book that tested Jauss's thesis. But, in so many ways, the reaction to "Going Rogue" is as interesting as its content. Palin's memoir is everything you'd expect from a politician who has no intention of leaving the national scene. With the aid of Lynn Vincent as her ghostwriter, she tells homespun stories, cracks a few jokes, provides juicy campaign gossip and lets the reader know where she stands on issues such as the right to life, government taxes and spending, health care and climate change.

It doesn't matter what she knows. Obama has no idea how the world works and if he was a student of history he would have backed out of Afgan.

Character is what matters, which Obama has none. He was elected because of the Faith no More song

To even compare those two makes me think how far from reality some Palin supporters actually are.

She might use some Reagan-like phrases, but I'm even not convinced that she has the knowledge or mental curiosity to think on the level of a social studies teacher, not to mention any past President.

Have you forgotten she quit as governor? No one's going to allow a quitter, no matter who you are, to go as far as candidacy for POTUS. She may have had a chance with her followers, but no one wants a quitter leading the country.

It appears he or she would rather have Sarah Palin as President and that she could do a better job than President Obama.

lol exactly. just because someone IS a character, or in her case a caricature, does not mean they have character...
