i started shaving when i was 14; just a little bit hairs on my chinny chin chin and side burns. but for about a year now, i've been having to do it pretty regularly. i'm 18 now. i would grow out a beard but my facial hair grows really weirdly...it kind of starts from my neck and grows up. right around my adam's apple and up...but then it slowly fills in around my cheeks.
anyone else start out like this? i'm just really hoping to grow some facial hair around my cheeks because i think it would be pretty BA to have a beard.

Same here, dude. Started on my neck when I was about 14or 15. If I let it grow in at all I looked like some sort of a mutant. 28 now and it's still a bit patchy. I've got some pretty badass chops but it doesn't quite go to the corners of my mouth yet. But whatever. So what if I look like Wolverine?
