Hey Mere do you have any more info on The Who at the bowl. If I can't see PJ I'd love to see The Who.

no words yet, but i know for a fact i'll be working at that concert.

and on that note i haven't had a chance to talk to the councellors about PJ. way too busy and sick....

i have a friend who works at venture taranaki, who was trying to get PJ for me. so we'll see

Youd think that should be good news for us, seeing they petitioned like us...im not a 10C member anymore which is only a tad worrying.
Its been 8 years, but I still believe...PJ in NZ 06!

And they only got 2200 signatures apparently. Didn't scottdm get more than that last tour, but it never got them here for us :(

This guy who reckoned he knew a surfing mate of Ed's must've had some powerful friends....bastards. Have they ever played Newcastle before? Isnt Newcastle the equivalent of Hamiltron?

Its easier to add a show in a country than it is to add NZ - they aint coming, i think if you hold false hope you are going to be dissappointed

Fair enough mate, but did you see my post? Is it possible? I won't be giving up hope just yet...
  • According to Billboard's tour finder, the international acts touring the region (meaning already announced concerts in Australia, but nothing in NZ yet) during November and December are:
    Billy Joel
    Chris Isaak
    Kylie Minouge
    Robbie Williams
    Pearl Jam

By my reckoning, Joel and Isaak don't count as attracting a younger audience. Minouge and Williams are out for early December as they appear to be fully booked across Australia from the end of November to mid December (Williams, for instance, has four days between each show and there's no time to get to NZ and back) and not the type of act to announce a 'last minute' show.

Pearl Jam for New Plymouth (or anywhere else)? I believe in miracles.

Shows I've seen (or will be):
Buenos Aires 25/11/05 "this has to be as far as your voices and your energy... of all the years I think this is the greatest audience we've ever played for... es verdad... I mean..no one sings the guitar parts for Christ's sake"
    Buenos Aires 26/11/05
    Sao Paulo 2/12/05
    Rio de Janeiro 4/12/05
    New Plymouth ??/12/06

  • Gosh this thread is going soooo slow at the moment. Fuck I hate the Rock 100. It just gets worse every year. Simply cause it's nothing new. It's just so boring.
  • I still reckon theres a pretty good chance that they'll come to NZ

    Honestly... im not joking...
