Feeling strangely sad :( Just sat and ate lots of chocolate and had a bit of a weep. Feeling really funny about my son turning 13 on the 25th. It doesn't seem 5 minutes since he was born. The days are long gone when he used to sit on my knee for a cuddle, he doesn't need a story at bedtime anymore, he doesn't need me to kiss it better when it hurts. I still want to pretend Father Christmas has been and make flour footprints on the carpet, take a bite out of Rudolfs carrot and eat a bit of the mince pie left for Santa. I know he's got to grow up and that he can't stay little for ever, and I do want him to be a big independant teenager, I'm just finding it a little hard right now.

How the hell am I going to cope when he leaves home?

why do you lovely ladies worry about chocolate and weight all the time...shit i hate skinny women..well ok dont hate but gimmie the choice i sooner have something to hold..go get the fruit and nut out

honestly, i don't.
that's the problem.

just many things change with age, and not all for the better.
my days of being a stick figure are gone....but there's no need to turn into a weeble either. a happy medium will suffice i think.

besides, it's just about feeling healthy, and sure, fitting in that fave pair of sexy-ass jeans...

Don't worry about it all the time, usually only after I've pigged out or put something on that until recently fit :oops:

Don't find skinny men that hot either, a boney hug has got nothing on a hug with a bit of padding!!
