Mr Snuggleton was born Tedward Snuggleton Jr, to Vera and Grizzly Snuggleton of the Porirua Snuggleton family.

After a brief flirtation with disco, he legally changed his name to Teddy Vedder and toured the country as a Pearl Jam covers bear, only to be discovered by Eddie Vedder when Ed was over in NZ for 7WC.

Feeling sheepish (baa) Teddy Vedder changed his name back to Snuggleton and he and Ed struck up a lifelong friendship. Snuggs was quoted in Womans' Day as saying "Eddie Vedder is a true hero to the masses, a working bear's man. His soul and music speak to the people and he's also a snappy dresser." Vedder was overheard speaking warmly about his pal Snuggs at a benefit gala for Corduroy Paw Wear and Tear: "Who's the snuggliest, fluffiest little bear? You are! Yes you are!"

Snuggleton is currently trying to make his way back into the loving arms of the band that would love him if they were given half a chance. He's quite keen on befriending one Mr Mike McCready.

When Ed walks into the studio at about 1:57, Mr Snuggleton is clearly sitting on his head!

Oh no someones killed him and made him into a fashion accessory!
PETA will come down on your Mr Vedder!

as far as the postal service is concerned, mr snuggleton should be in the states right now. is he lying cold and alone with only ONE DAMN BOOK TO READ on a concrete floor in a seattle mail room? is he at the ten club office drinking beer and eating cornchips with santos? is he in his new room in the mccready residence?

    i'd love to know.

hhaaahah. mr. snuggleton always cheers me up... tc needs to mass produce him and sell him in the goods sections- giving doompony a 60% cut!
Further back and forth a wave will break on me, today...

  • Yeah, they need to clone a whole bunch of Mr. Snuggletons like they did with the Vs. sheep a few years ago.

as long as the clone bears are marked as being clones. no one could REPLACE mr snuggleton. that's why (despite missing the little bugger) i haven't gone back to the store i got him from to try to find his twin (thad snuggleton) because there's only one adventurous little bear that saw pearl jam from the front row in auckland.

i've asked if there's any news... not as such, but i was reassured a little that he might make it to the band... i hope the ten club peeps who open mail have some idea what it is and want to make sure it gets to mike
