    ya know, i was reading a christmas and consumerism thread here and it got me thinking - this has been one of the BEST holiday seasons, and honestly...i usually thoroughly enjoy my holidays, and next to no stress. years ago when i bought a lot more gifts, even then...i shopped/wrapped before thanksgiving, so i could entirely enjoy the month of december. nowadays with a shrunk gift-list, took off thanksgiving thru 12.07....did my shopping, wrapping, very few cards, whole house decorating, TREE! :mrgreen: .....all so enjoyable. gone out a LOT....seen a lot of friends....ate a lot of good food....drank too much wine :D.....good times! and christmas isn't even here yet! :lol: i've got beautiful plans surrounding the holidays, filled with family and friends.....good food and drink...relaxation.....firm-designated time off, christmas thru 01.05. i feel really blessed and happy. given the times, i truly, truly appreciate it ALL.


    and this evening, our firm holiday party!
